The rates in the energy sector by socio economic levels in Colombia are recorded for supply electricity companies (regular user); the companies with a big electricity consumer in the commercial and industrial sector can be applied to non-regulated users, these type of users have a high demand of energy greater than 0.1 megawatts (MW) or 55 MWh (Megawatt - Hours), The non-regulated users can directly negotiate rates with a trading company on stock exchange energy which allows lower and competitive cost in the energy market.
