Composed by 3 departments, Caldas, Quindio and Risaralda have a combined population of nearly 2 million inhabitants. The Coffee Triangle enjoys a convenient central location in front of the three major urban centers of the country and direct connectivity with Panama and the United States. Two of their capital cities, Pereira and Manizales occupied the top two positions in the World Bank’s Doing Business Report. It is a region with significant expertise in metalworking sectors, tourism, agribusiness, education and services. The Tebaida Free Trade Zone is located in this region and it has a significant connectivity to the Pacific.
